It has been too long since I posted. There have been so many times when I want to post, but I want to put up pictures, and it take so long to upload them onto photobucket. Can anyone recommend a better way of posting pictures on the web, so that I can put them up on xanga?
So, Nathan and I have been in Korea for about five months! It has been so wonderful to be here together and just have a change of scenery and change of pace. I feel a lot less academic pressure here than at Georgetown, which is a nice break. We have gotten to spend time with a lot of great friends as they came to and went from or came to and stayed in Korea. And we have really had a chance to enjoy our time with eachother.
Of course we are both so excited to go home and see family and friends. We are lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives.
Two weeks ago we went to Sorak San (a famous mountain range in Korea, for anyone who doesn't know :). It was so fun. We went to with Tiffany, Christina, and two friends from school. One of the highlights of the trip was shooting off fireworks on the beach at night. Nathan came up with the idea of having firework wars with eachother; similar to paintball, but with roman candles. I have to admit, I was a bit concerned that someone would get hurt, but we were cautious. We had so much fun. It was a bit ironic that Nathan ended up getting injured. He was shot near the eye, but luckily not directly in the eye. His eyelashes were singed and he had some tiny burn marks, but he was ok.
Yesterday, we celebrated Aziz's Birthday. Anyone who didn't wish him a happy birthday should go and do that :). It's so nice to have other BC's here. He and his wife are so happy together.
ok, here are some pictures :).
Here we are at the peak of the mountain!

Nathan looking at the amazing scenerey.

Getting all the amo ready for the 'war' :).

Oh, and a few weeks ago, Nathan and I were the stars of a Korean tv program ( for anyone who knows about Korean channels, it was an arirang tv program) :). It was a promotional video, and we were the foreigners selected to be taped going around to different sites in a particular city of Korea, and enjoying everything. It was a blast and the people were great! We got to practice our Korean.
These are some of the guys from the tv station crew.

They wanted Nathan to ride a motorcycle!

We had a stylist who gave us clothes and did make-up and hair. It was quite an experience.

Ok, I have to do some homework. Have a great day!
